This policy explains what happens to your data when you visit scarlett-vale.com (the “site”). The site is a single promotional page for Scarlett Vale, a fictional AI-generated character. It has no accounts, no forms and no payments, and it is intended for adults 18+ only.

1. Who is responsible

The site is operated by SolidByte Solutions (“we”, “us”), which is responsible for the personal data described here.

2. What we collect

We do not ask you for your name, email or payment details. When you visit, the following is collected automatically:

Technical data: IP address, browser and device type, operating system, language, referring page, date and time of the visit.
Visit data: pages viewed, time on page, scrolling and clicks, and campaign tags in the link you arrived with (for example utm_source).
Button clicks: whether you tapped the Fanvue or Instagram button.
Approximate location: country or city derived from your IP address. We do not collect precise location.

3. Services that process data on this site

These are all the third-party services the site uses. Each receives some of the data above when your browser loads the page.

Hostingerhosting & CDN

Provider: Hostinger International Ltd. (Cyprus, EU)
Purpose: Serving the site, caching it on a content delivery network, security and abuse protection.
Data: Server logs: IP address, browser, requested URL, time.

Google Analytics 4visit statistics

Provider: Google Ireland Limited / Google LLC (USA)
Purpose: Counting visits, traffic sources and button clicks, and comparing which button wording works best (events page_view, cta_exposure, cta_click).
Cookies: _ga, _ga_* (up to 2 years)
Retention: Event-level data is kept for the period set in our Analytics account, at most 14 months.

Microsoft Claritybehavior analytics

Provider: Microsoft Ireland Operations Ltd. / Microsoft Corporation (USA)
Purpose: Heatmaps and anonymized session replays showing how visitors scroll and click, so we can improve the page. Text you might type is masked.
Cookies: _clck (1 year), _clsk (1 day), CLID, MUID (1 year)
Retention: Session replays about 30 days; aggregated data up to 13 months.

Meta Pixeladvertising

Provider: Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd. / Meta Platforms, Inc. (USA)
Purpose: Measuring and optimizing our ads on Facebook and Instagram, and building audiences of people who visited. Events sent: PageView, Lead (Fanvue button), InstagramClick.
Cookies: _fbp, _fbc (90 days)
Note: Meta may match these events to your Facebook or Instagram account. For collecting and sending this data we are joint controllers with Meta; Meta is responsible for what happens afterwards (Meta Privacy Policy).

Supabaseour click log

Provider: Supabase, Inc. (USA), hosting our own database
Purpose: When you tap a Fanvue button we record a random click ID, the channel and campaign tags you arrived with, which button you tapped and whether you came from a Meta ad. Fanvue later reports back to us, using that click ID, whether the visit led to a follow, subscription or purchase, so we can see which campaigns work. No name, email or payment details are involved.
Retention: Up to 14 months.

Google Fontstypefaces

Provider: Google Ireland Limited / Google LLC (USA)
Purpose: Loading the fonts used on the page. Your IP address is sent to Google; no cookies are set.

Your browserlocal storage

Purpose: A few small settings are kept on your device and never sent to us as such: which version of the button text you see, so it stays the same on your next visit (sv_cta_v); whether a page view or button tap was already counted in this visit and which campaign link you arrived with (sv_exp_*, sv_lead, sv_utm, sv_fbclid, cleared when you close the tab); your opt-out choice (sv_optout, see section 6); and, if an age confirmation screen is shown, your answer (sv_age_ok).

Links to other sites

The buttons open Fanvue (fanvue.com, a subscription platform for adults; following is free, some content is paid) and Instagram. When you tap a Fanvue button, it opens a Fanvue link for the channel you came from (for example Instagram, TikTok or an ad), and the campaign tags from the link you arrived with (for example utm_source) are added to it, together with the random click ID described above (fvc_id) and, if you came from a Meta ad and have not opted out, Meta’s ad click ID (fbclid). Once you leave this site, their own privacy policies and terms apply. Fanvue tells us, per click ID, whether you followed, subscribed or bought something there and the amount, together with an internal Fanvue account ID. Fanvue’s reports can also contain your Fanvue username and display name; we discard those on receipt and never store them. We never receive your email or payment details. If you use Global Privacy Control, no click ID or ad click ID is added to the Fanvue link.

4. Why we use your data (legal bases)

Running and securing the site (hosting, CDN, server logs): our legitimate interest in providing a working, safe website.
Statistics, behavior analytics and advertising (Google Analytics, Clarity, Meta Pixel): our legitimate interest in understanding and promoting the site. You can opt out or object at any time (see section 6).

We do not sell your personal data for money. Sending visit data to Meta for advertising may count as “sharing” or “targeted advertising” under some U.S. state laws; you can opt out as described in section 6, and we automatically honor the Global Privacy Control signal.

5. International transfers

Google, Microsoft and Meta may process data in the United States. These companies participate in the EU–U.S. Data Privacy Framework (and its UK and Swiss extensions) and also use the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses.

6. Your privacy choices and rights

Opt out on this device. Turns off Google Analytics, Microsoft Clarity, the Meta Pixel and our click log (no click ID is created or passed to Fanvue) on scarlett-vale.com in this browser. Nothing else about the site changes.

Global Privacy Control: if your browser sends a GPC signal, we treat it as a request to opt out of sharing and targeted advertising: the Meta Pixel is not loaded, and Google Analytics runs without advertising features.

Block or delete cookies in your browser settings, or use a private window.
Google Analytics: opt-out browser add-on.
Meta ads: manage ad settings at facebook.com/adpreferences.

Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR/UK GDPR or U.S. state privacy laws such as the CCPA/CPRA), you may have the right to access, correct, delete or receive a copy of your data, to restrict or object to its use, to opt out of targeted advertising, and to withdraw consent. Because we do not collect names or emails, we may need details such as the date and time of your visit to find your data. Write to privacy@scarlett-vale.com; we answer within 30 days and will not treat you differently for using your rights. In the EU/EEA/UK you can also complain to your local data protection authority.

7. How long we keep data

Server logs are kept for a short period set by our host for security. Analytics and advertising data are kept for the periods listed in section 3, after which they are deleted or anonymized.

8. Adults only

This site is for adults 18 and over. It is not directed at minors, and we do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has used the site, contact us and we will delete any related data we can identify.

9. About Scarlett

Scarlett Vale is a fictional character. All images of her are AI-generated and do not show a real person.

10. Changes

If we add or remove a service, we update this page and the date at the top.
